The documentary “Dancing on Road”, created by filmmaker Lauren Gee, was produced as part of Warner Bros. Discovery Access’ Black Britain Unspoken program, an initiative launched in 2022 to champion underrepresented Black British creatives. Now in its third year, the program gives filmmakers a unique pitch-to-production experience, while also providing tailored professional development workshops through Media Trust. Its mission is clear: to amplify authentic voices and create opportunities for Black directors, writers, and producers in an industry where representation is still lacking.
